More see-saw!
A friend has been installing a dog obstacle course in her yard to practice with her dog. What fun!! Notice Dylan is starting to repeat (and say) phrases! He started doing that in the last few weeks.

Rocking in Bob's chair
Dylan has rocked before, in the Laz-E-Mom chair in his bedroom, but nonetheless looked initially confused when I called this rocking. He looked over to his right and said "rock," pointing at a rock Bob has on his end table. Not sure what the "ya ya" is supposed to mean. He's clearly pointing at the arm, so was that a very bad imitation of "rocking?" He does echo "chair" soon after.

Cheerios and bubbles
Look how he shoves that fistful of Cheerios! And he's sitting on a real chair... we may have to get more stable chairs, maybe a booster seat for him. He's not as happy in his high chair any more.
Notice the "mmm" and that he's also saying "please" more often now (always prompted, tho; and as a sign; it's supposed to be a one-handed sign - this one was especially enthusiastic). I've got to capture "thank you" one of these days, too. It's sooooo cute!

Saying the names of his food
We didn't try for "green beans" in this video, but "cheese" has been one of his words for a while now. One of his favorite foods, so before he'd try to say it, he'd at least point to the fridge when he wanted some.
He loves watching this video of himself
I've played this video for Dylan several times. He usually laughs at himself, particularly at the "where's the baby" part.

Stick!
Another of his frequent words is "stick," or "ti." Little does he know these are actually a 5-yr old friend's light sabers. Um, hmm!
Bus!
One of his current favorite words is "bus." 'Er, well, there's no "s" sound yet, so it's "bu." He's got a toy bus at home. He found one at a friend's house (video). And we see them pass the daycare every day.
The ones passing the daycare are shuttles from the free parking at Lloyd Noble up to campus. All they do is run back and forth, so I'm thinking we might take a ride on the bus for fun one of these days.
